The Magic Bar is open six days a week from 11:30 am to 1:00 am - closed on Tuesday.
Vlado, the owner performs great feats of magic for his guests and is a special favorite with children, not to mention the adults.

The specialty of the house is Magic Bread, however, all the food is good. And the beer has a long traditional, the brewery being founded in 1040 and is the oldest brewery in the world.

Vlado's new building was built in December of 1997, it is not the oldest building in the world, nor in Oberammergau, that's the good news.

The interior of the Zauberstub'n is roomy, pleasant and has a magificent view of the Kofel, Oberammergau's beloved landmark that towers over the village. On sunny days sitting on the patio even enhances the view. It is awesome.

A visit to the Magic Bar will almost guaranty you will particpate in a magic trick and be amazed at Vlado's talent. These customer's were good sports and throruly enjoyed the magic tricks played on them.

Its just a short walk to the center of the village, and while walking one will pass the Little Red Riding Hood house, the Hansel and Gretel orphanage and the rocco village church of St. Peter and St. Paul. A pleasant walk to say the least.
